Echo of Soul Global operates on two separate servers. Although you log in to each server with the same account, and your game cash is shared between them, each server is separate in all other regards. Characters, items, gold, storage, and all other information is specific to each server, and cannot be moved from one to another.
Characters from both servers are still able to interact in cross-server content.
Imidoom is the first server opened upon the launch of our service. Players with Echo of Soul characters from previous publishers of the game were able to transfer their characters to the new server, and continue where they left off. As such, many Imidoom characters are owned by players with several years of experience, who have amassed powerful gear and large amounts of wealth.
Ragnarok is the second server, which was opened a few months after our service launched. Unlike Imidoom, players with existing Echo of Soul characters were not able to migrate these characters to the new server. Ragnarok was intended as a means of allowing new and/or casual players to begin their play experience on a more even footing, without having to compete with highly progressed characters for world spawns or group spots.
Ragnarok is recommended for players who are new to Echo of Soul. If you did not already migrate existing characters, we only recommend Imidoom for new players if you already have friends playing on this server, or if you are prepared to spend enough time/cash to catch up with the larger part of the player base.
