The Echo of Soul game server is located in Central Europe, and players from various parts of the world have reported that they experience better connection speeds when connecting to the game server through a VPN.

VPN's are not prohibited by the Terms of Use. However, connecting to the game through a VPN will remove our ability to identify your account via your IP address. This makes it more difficult for us to recover/restore your account in the event that it is compromised/hacked, and as such, we do not recommend the use of a VPN to connect to the Echo of Soul service.
