No, an Aide only loses Trust if you sail without any money for their wages or if you choose another Aide as your Aide Captain.

To change your Aide's ship, go to Ship/Fleet -> Aide Ship Info and then on the Aide Ship Screen, select the "Change" button on the bottom.
